When I taught first grade I had a book of about 10 nursery rhymes for my students to illustrate. Jack Be Nimble was one of them. Many of the kids drew similar pictures to yours (though in their first grade styles), but in most of them Jack was facing forward, there was no space between the flame and Jack, and it was a different anatomical part that appeared to be being BBQ'd.
