This depiction is decidedly a highly improbable event. Everyone knows of the plethora of laboratory experiments that have been conducted with gigantic bananas. Of which not a solitary one floated.

The obvious question is: does the little French man assist in the buoyancy of a colossal sized banana?

It just like the rides at Disneyland where all the little kids think they are really driving the lame boats and they turn the steering wheel all the way around while their parents take endless pictures and wave from the shore. But actually they aren't driving at all, there is really a trained giant squid tied to the bottom of the boat that scoots along a prdetermined route.
